​Join us for a fun and creative 5-week (3 week on Monday) art journey where children will explore nature, springtime, and storytelling through watercolour, collage, and painting.

Each week, we’ll focus on an inspiring artist and their unique approach to capturing the beauty of the season. Children will create their own artwork, develop new skills, and take home beautiful pieces they can be proud of! This project encourages creativity, self-expression, and confidence while fostering a deeper connection to the natural world.

In craft this term, we will be diving into a variety of exciting and hands-on projects designed to spark creativity and develop fine motor skills.

The children will begin by making vibrant pom pom key rings, exploring texture and colour combinations. They will then learn the art of weaving, experimenting with different patterns and materials to create unique designs. Finally, we will focus on crafting colourful friendship bracelets, encouraging them to personalise their creations and perhaps even make something special for a friend. 

We will begin by exploring various drawing techniques, helping the children build confidence and develop their artistic skills.

Following this, the focus will shift to creating one or more drawings using different drawing media, allowing the children to experiment with a range of materials. They will also have the opportunity to choose their own subject matter, encouraging personal expression and creativity. Along the way, they will be encouraged to reflect on their progress and celebrate their achievements as they refine their individual styles.
