Service Description
Our 1:1 art sessions provide a personalised and supportive environment for children to explore their creativity, develop artistic skills, and build confidence. These hour-long sessions can be booked individually and are tailored to each child’s needs—whether they want to experiment with new techniques, refine their abilities, or prepare for an art scholarship. All materials are provided, ensuring children have everything they need to get creative. We recommend they wear old clothes, as these sessions often involve fun and messy projects! The sessions take place in a cosy home setting, offering a relaxed and welcoming space where children can feel comfortable expressing themselves artistically. While designed for ages 7–11, slightly older or younger children may also be considered. The full address will be shared upon booking. Upon booking, please provide details about what your child would like to focus on so the session can be tailored to their interests and goals. Please note: Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance. If you would like to book a session with less than 24 hours’ notice, please contact us by phone or email first to confirm availability before proceeding with the booking.
Cancellation Policy
Booking, Payment and Refund Policy By registering your child for Starty Arty sessions, you consent to their participation under the full Terms and Conditions, available on our website. Booking and Availability: Places for Starty Arty sessions are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of full payment. Once a session is fully booked, additional registrations can sign up to be placed on a waiting list. Parents will be notified if a space becomes available, and these will also be offered in the order of the waiting list. To secure a spot, we recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment. If you have any questions or need assistance with payments or refunds, please contact startyarty.uk@gmail.com. Payment Processing: When you register for a Starty Arty session, your payment is processed securely through our payment provider. Typically, payments are processed within 2 to 5 business days, depending on the payment method used. Once processed, the funds are transferred to our account, which may take an additional 3 to 5 business days. Spread the Cost with PayPal Pay in 3 We’re pleased to offer PayPal’s Pay in 3 option at checkout, allowing you to split the cost of your child’s art lessons into three interest-free monthly payments. Cancellations and Refunds: Term Time Courses: 14 days or more before the course start date: Full refund. 7–13 days before the course start date: 50% refund. Less than 7 days before the course start date: No refund. Single Workshops: 48 hours or more before the workshop start time: A full refund or credit for a future workshop will be provided. Less than 48 hours before the workshop start time: No refund; the session fee is forfeited. Missed Sessions: Refunds or credits will not be given for missed sessions unless due to exceptional circumstances (e.g., prolonged illness), at the discretion of Starty Arty. Refund Processing Time: Once a refund is initiated, it can take up to 3 to 5 business days for the refunded amount to appear in your account, depending on your bank or credit card provider. Fees: We do not charge any additional fees for processing payments or refunds. Any standard processing fees associated with payment transactions are absorbed by us and are included in the cost of your purchase. Please note that while we cover these fees, the original processing fee from the payment provider is not returned to us in the event of a refund.
