Term Time Art Classes
Our weekly Art classes are designed for children aged 6–11 (Years 2–6) who enjoy being creative and love to draw, paint, make and create. Alongside our weekly Art classes, we also offer a Wednesday Art class for younger children (Years 1–5) and our child-led Sketch & Create sessions.
Each course runs during term time, with all materials provided. Classes are kept small, creating a relaxed and supportive environment where every child is encouraged to explore, experiment and develop their creativity. We recommend wearing old clothes, as we'll be exploring a wonderful variety of materials and techniques throughout the term.
From September, our Art classes will bring together the very best of both art and craft. Across the school year, children will have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of inspiring projects using drawing, painting, clay, printmaking, collage, textiles and mixed media, all inspired by artists, designers and creative traditions from around the world.
Alongside our weekly classes, I also offer individual 1:1 sessions for children who would like to build confidence, develop their artistic skills or prepare a portfolio for an art scholarship or school application.
Places are limited, so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.

Starty Arty's weekly Art classes are designed for children who love to draw, paint, make and create.
Through a wide variety of inspiring projects, children are gently supported to build their artistic skills, develop confidence and discover new ways of expressing their creativity. Some projects are completed in a single session, while others evolve over several weeks, giving children time to experiment, refine their ideas and take pride in their finished work.
As they continue their creative journey with Starty Arty, children have the opportunity to explore a wide range of art and craft techniques using drawing, painting, watercolour, clay, printmaking, collage, textiles, mixed media and more. Projects are inspired by artists, designers and creative traditions from around the world, while also allowing space for children's interests and ideas to shape their creative journey.
Above all, Starty Arty is about nurturing creativity, confidence and curiosity in a warm, supportive environment where every child feels encouraged to experiment, express themselves and enjoy the creative journey.
Each session lasts 1 hour 15 minutes, with all materials included.
Sketch & Create
Sketch & Create is a relaxed, child-led creative studio where imagination takes the lead.
Rather than following a set weekly project, children are gently supported to develop their own ideas, learn new techniques and grow in confidence.
Whether they're finishing a piece they've been working on, trying something completely new or simply enjoying the process of making, each child is encouraged to create at their own pace.
With access to a wide range of art and craft materials, children can choose to draw, paint, work with clay, explore collage, printmaking, textiles and much more. Every session is different, giving children the opportunity to follow their interests while discovering new creative possibilities along the way.
Each session lasts 1 hour 15 minutes, with all materials included.
