Sketch & Create is a relaxed, child-led creative class where imagination takes the lead. Rather than following a set weekly project, children are gently supported to develop their own ideas, explore their interests and discover new ways of creating. Each session offers the freedom to choose what they would like to work on, while receiving guidance, encouragement and ideas to help them develop their skills and confidence. Children might continue a piece they have already started, try a new technique, experiment with different materials or create something completely from their imagination. They can draw, paint, explore watercolour, work with clay, try printmaking, collage, textiles, mixed media and much more. Every session is different, allowing children to work at their own pace and make creative choices for themselves. Along the way, they will learn new techniques, solve creative problems and develop their own ideas and artistic style. Every child will receive their own Starty Arty sketchbook at the beginning of the term. This can become a place to collect ideas, practise techniques, make sketches, plan projects and record their creative journey. Above all, Sketch & Create is about nurturing creativity, confidence and curiosity in a warm, supportive environment where children can experiment, follow their interests and enjoy the freedom of making. What you need to know 🎨 All art materials are included 📔 Starty Arty sketchbook included ⏰ Each session lasts 1 hour 15 minutes 👧 Children work independently in a small group 🚗 Drop-off class – parents do not need to stay Please bring 👕 Old clothes suitable for messy art activities 💧 A named water bottle or drink 🚫 No snacks, please Children should arrive ready to explore, experiment and create! Age group: Saturday: Years 2–6 Maximum 8 children per class, allowing plenty of individual encouragement and support. Important Booking Information After booking, you should receive a confirmation email confirming your child's place. A booking is only confirmed once this confirmation email has been received. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your junk/spam folder and contact me to confirm your booking. On rare occasions, a payment or booking may not complete successfully, so I am always happy to check if your child's place has been secured. Location Starty Arty Studio – located in the Langton Green Pavilion, in a dedicated studio space next to Langton's Cafe. Parking available.

Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy By booking a Starty Arty session, you agree to our full Terms & Conditions, available on our website. Booking & Payment Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Your child's place is only confirmed once you have received a booking confirmation email. If you do not receive one, please check your spam/junk folder and contact me. If a class or workshop is full, you are welcome to join the waiting list. Spaces will be offered in waiting-list order as they become available. Payment Options Payment can be made in full at checkout. Eligible customers can also choose PayPal Pay in 3 to spread the cost over three interest-free monthly payments, subject to PayPal approval. For term-time classes, a two-payment option may also be available. Please contact us before booking to arrange this. Cancellations & Refunds Term-Time Courses • 14 days or more before the course starts: full refund or credit. • 7–13 days before the course starts: 50% refund or credit. • Less than 7 days before the course starts: no refund or credit. Single Workshops • 7 days or more before the workshop: full refund, credit or transfer to another available workshop. • Less than 7 days before the workshop: refunds, credits or transfers cannot normally be offered. If the place can be filled by another booking or from the waiting list, Starty Arty may, at its discretion, offer a refund, credit or transfer. Missed Sessions No refunds or credits will be given for missed sessions, late arrivals, illness, holidays, or non-attendance. unless due to exceptional circumstances (e.g., prolonged illness), at the discretion of Starty Arty. If Starty Arty needs to cancel a course or workshop, a full refund or alternative arrangement will be offered.
