Children will experiment with a range of watercolour techniques, including washes, blending and layering, before creating their own colourful fish artwork. This relaxing and creative workshop introduces children to one of the most versatile painting mediums while developing confidence in colour, pattern and composition. Each child will leave with a vibrant underwater-inspired painting full of personality and imagination. Led by an experienced art teacher, each Starty Arty workshop offers a unique opportunity for children to develop their creativity, learn new artistic skills and explore a wide range of materials and techniques in a calm, supportive studio environment. With a maximum of just 6 children per workshop, every child receives plenty of individual encouragement and guidance as they work on a themed art or craft project. Alongside the main creative activity, children will enjoy fun icebreaker games, creative challenges and opportunities to socialise with other young artists. All materials are provided, and children are encouraged to experiment, build confidence and enjoy the creative process. The day includes lunch and snack breaks, and every child will leave with finished artwork to take home, new skills to build on and lots of creative inspiration. A booking is only confirmed once this confirmation email has been received. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your junk/spam folder and contact me to confirm your booking. On very rare occasions, a payment or booking may not complete successfully, so I am always happy to check if your child's place has been secured.
Booking and Cancellation Policy
Summer Workshops Booking Policy Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of payment. A booking is only confirmed once you have received a confirmation email. Workshops are suitable for children aged 6–11. Please ensure your child meets the age requirements before booking. By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to Starty Arty's Terms and Conditions. Cancellation Policy • 7 days or more before the workshop date: A full refund, voucher, or transfer to an alternative workshop (subject to availability) will be offered. • Less than 7 days before the workshop date: Refunds, vouchers, or transfers cannot be guaranteed due to the limited number of places available. • If a cancelled place can be filled from the waiting list or by another booking, a refund, voucher, or transfer (minus any non-refundable booking or payment processing fees) may be offered at the discretion of Starty Arty. • No refunds or credits will be given for missed sessions, late arrivals, illness, holidays, or non-attendance. Waitlist Policy If a workshop is fully booked, you may join the waiting list. Should a place become available, it will be offered in the order that parents joined the waiting list. You will be contacted using the details provided at booking. If we do not receive a response within the specified timeframe, the place may be offered to the next child on the waiting list.
